Although she is more well-known for her role as an actress, singer, songwriter, and pianist Alicia Witt has been performing songs since the beginning of her career on screen. In 2009, after primarily working as a piano player and singer, she debuted her first album, which highlighted Alicia Witt's obvious due in the direction of Elton John, Billy Joel and many others, accompanied by a warm, strong voice. The first album she recorded produced by Ben Folds, Revisionary History, appeared in the year 2015. The Conduit in 2021 marked her debut album as co-producer. Alicia Witt made her first screen appearance as Alia Atreides in David Lynch's 1984 adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. While she wasn't even ten yet, it is no surprise to find her labeled an actress instead of an accomplished pianist, even though she has played piano, at the very least, for as long she has been on screen. Although she was onscreen more but her profession as a musician didn't commence until the year 1995.
